What looked like a pleasant stroll around the lake on the map was quite a full-on section of Mt. Rintoul standards. We are not very fast on the Tricky bits.. It took us well over an hour to do about half a mile round this lake, starting to look like Waiau Pass will have to wait Until tomorrow.
