Ollie and Nico are right there in the bottom of the vast grey bowl. Ollie’s orange pack rain cover beaming out the general direction for us as Cookie and i stopped and started along route taking pictures and video :) The long winding valley eventually thinned and steepened and became forest again. The trickle of glacial melt water now a rushing ‘proper’ river.
