Now that’s orange. The funny thing is we almost walked straight past it! If Cookie hadn’t turned around we’d have never seen this beacon of an emergency bivvy. Two bunks, and enough room for your knees. But i wished hard that we’d made the effort last night to get a couple more miles up here to Harpers before turning in at the Hut from Hell ;) I said to Cookie, “That hut made me wish I’d never read that Haunted Huts article”. I laughed my head off at the time. Only to find myself trapped in one the next night. The hut gods had frowned on me. And now they were rubbing it in my face with day glow orange paint.
