Found out something interesting on the road today. I’ve missed a zombie movie! Cookie reckons this place was the set of a zombie movie with monkeys in it??How did i never hear of this before ? 
Fans of Peter Jacksons early horror comedy gore fest films might recognise this place? It was the main set for his rabid zombie monkey film Braindead.
Braindead is brilliant! Probably one of the bloodiest and funniest zombie films ever. Highly recommended. And great to see where it was filmed. You really have picked a holiday of a lifetime, and I’m loving living it vicariously =)
