Don’t really have to say much here do I ? This is our private beach on our personal island! The tide varies the size of it across the day, so the main decisions you have to make are, is it sunbathing, or snorkelling time. It’s a hard life living to a tight schedule. It really is… ;)
That RAB sleeping bag liner came in useful too. It’s had all sorts of incarnations over the months. But being nomads, with our very limited selection of possessions, everything needs to have at least three uses or you dump it from the rucksack ;)
The beach isn’t sand, it’s tiny broken up bits of coral, it doesn’t get hot in the sun like sand and is lovely for walking on. Round on the eastern side of the island facing the open sea, the beach is covered in much larger chunks of the outer reef, you need footwear to walk round there, oh the horrors ;)
