One day back on the Richmond Alpine Route we spied our hiker compadre Andrew whip out some pizza sauce and promptly construct a pepperoni pizza! “OMG” I thought. Why’d we never thought of that? And so ever since, we been packing wraps, sauce, jalapiños, and ‘bier sticks’ to knock up an impromptu American Hot pizzaish luncheon. Bloody awesome to tuck into such a juicy treat half way through a long slog of a day. Or anyway in fact! He longer we walk this trail the more salubrious our Countdown shopping list seems to become. We’ll be packing in caviar and shark fin soup next eh. ;)
Com’on DOC, you know everyone wants one, get a wood-fired pizza oven installed out the back of every hut ;) Seriously, how good would that be?
