Come tea time we were on the sauce again for a final final goodbye showdown. A little more sedate and refined than the night before’s rampage, we sought the medicinal qualities of further beef intake, and fine wine. A fitting send off for Ollie and Nico, who I hope weren’t too broken by the time they made it back to London town. We heartily enjoyed your company, and salute your excellent adventures in the mountain wilderness. May there be more to come!
This is our second outing at the Butchery, this time at the much bigger and even more impressive Queenstown restaurant. No disappointment this time, these guys know their meat. I went double stag on this visit – Venison Carpaccio, followed by flame grilled Fiordland Venison Topside. Oh my word, it was good :)
